Dan is a published writer and author of poetry, short stories, and children’s books. He is also a contributing writer to Healthy Living News, a local monthly news magazine.
He is an experienced ELA teacher, most recently holding a position with Bedford (MI)
Public schools, and before that, a position with a local charter school. He enjoys
working with seniors, and has made numerous presentations at senior centers, the
YMCA Older Adults programs, senior residences, and community centers.
Dan is a graduate of the University of Toledo and spent over 30 years working as a real
estate Broker in Toledo, owning and managing his own company, Avalon Realty, LLC, a property management company.
In his spare time, Dan enjoys writing poetry and short stories and following the Detroit Tigers baseball team.
