INTRO
I thought we’d take a break this month from the serious postings and offer you a couple of poems that I’ve recently written. Both will be published this summer in Micromance Magazine. Both are about a chance meeting and are titled A SPARK and MEANT TO BE.

On the 15th we’ll post a short story I’ve also had published in Micromance Magazine titled BUS STOP, a story of a man and woman and their chance meeting at a bus stop.
I hope you enjoy them …
A SPARK
A spark you don’t expect
Can drift in on an ordinary day—
Soft as a glance,
Quiet as a thought you almost ignore.
But if you let it linger,
It grows warm enough
To change the shape of your world,
Reminding you that love often begins
As a possibility you finally decide to believe in.
MEANT TO BE
Fate has a gentle way
Of circling back
To what matters.
Destiny threads its reasons
Through the smallest moments,
Guiding us closer
Without ever rushing.
And when our paths finally met,
It felt less like chance
And more like something
That has been waiting
For us all along.
